01Scope and operator
This policy describes personal-information processing associated with the FateWay website and available features. The service provider is 北京满弦信息科技有限公司, registered in Beijing, China. The service is operated by manxiangroup.
This policy covers services provided by FateWay. External sign-in, model and payment providers also process information under their own privacy policies and agreements when you use their services.
02Account and technical information
Account creation and sign-in involve the email address, account identifiers and authentication information required by the available method. If you choose third-party sign-in, the service also processes returned profile and account-linking information. Availability is shown in the interface.
The current Google sign-in flow requests only the basic openid, email and profile permissions. FateWay receives your unique Google account identifier, name, email address, email-verification status and profile-picture URL to create or identify your FateWay account, link your sign-in identity and display your account profile. It also stores authorization credentials needed for authentication. This sign-in flow does not request access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files, calendars or contacts.
Authentication and operation involve session identifiers, IP addresses, browser or device information, sign-in times, operation states and errors, for session management, security and troubleshooting.
03Birth details, conversations and experiences
Chart information may include a name or nickname, sex, birth date, a known or unknown birth time, solar or lunar calendar and leap-month settings, and optional birthplace, coordinates, time zone and solar-time settings.
Readings and chat process questions, conversation records, chart calculations and generated reports. Birth-time exploration also uses dated experiences you choose to share about education, relationships, work or finances, and the resulting candidates.
These details may reveal private experiences about you or others. Provide only relevant information you are entitled to submit. Avoid unnecessary identity-document numbers, passwords or similar information.
04Purposes and AI processing
Information supports chart calculation and storage, context preparation, readings, continued conversations, unknown-time exploration and requested relationship features. Account, order and usage records also support access management, benefits reconciliation and troubleshooting.
Chart calculation and AI interpretation are distinct steps. Necessary birth details, calculated facts, questions and relevant conversation context are sent to the external model service used for the reading. This is not a wholly offline feature confined to your device.
Account identifiers, names, email addresses, profile pictures and authorization credentials returned by Google sign-in are not automatically included in AI reading context. Personal information you choose to include in birth details, questions or shared messages is still processed as content for those features.
External model providers may process information where their services operate and retain or use it under their privacy policies and service agreements. Processing locations, retention and training arrangements vary by provider; a model name alone does not establish zero retention or exclusion from training.
05Shared charts and public features
Shared relationship charts disclose information between participants, potentially including nicknames, avatars, birth-information snapshots, charts, shared messages and reports. Completed shared records may remain available in read-only form after someone leaves; leaving does not retract information another participant has already received.
Other participants in a shared relationship chart can see your account name and avatar, which may come from Google sign-in. Rankings use a separate anonymous profile by default and do not automatically use your Google name, email address or profile picture.
Binding a personal chart and joining a public ranking are separate actions. Public display should follow the user’s active choice and the feature’s disclosure. Binding a chart should not be treated as permission to publish all associated information.
06Sign-in, payment and other providers
Hosting, authentication, models and enabled payment features may involve external providers. Google sign-in involves profile and authentication information returned by Google. Available payment methods such as PayPal involve order and payment information processed by that provider. Information sent to model services is described in the Purposes and AI processing section of this policy.
Order processing involves account or order identifiers, payment sessions, amounts, currencies, payment times and status. Available payment methods and their applicable environment are shown at checkout.
FateWay does not send names, email addresses, profile pictures or authorization credentials returned by Google sign-in to PayPal as payer details. PayPal processes payment information in its own checkout flow.
07Cookies and browser storage
The website uses authentication cookies for sessions, and local or session browser storage for some order-recovery, pending relationship-chart requests and invitation states. Clearing or disabling storage may require a new sign-in or prevent recovery of those flows.
New analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking should be disclosed separately, with its purpose, providers and applicable choices. Necessary sign-in storage is not consent to every tracking purpose.
08Retention, deletion and security
Charts, conversations, reports and necessary operational records are stored server-side for history and continued use. Signing out or closing your browser does not automatically delete these records. Requests about retention or deletion can be made using the email below.
Google account-linking information and necessary authentication records are stored on FateWay servers to support future sign-ins. You can manage or revoke the FateWay connection in your Google Account. Revoking access or signing out does not automatically delete the accounts, charts, conversations or reports saved in FateWay. Contact us using the email below to request account closure or data deletion.
The current chart-deletion action is a logical deletion. It does not immediately and permanently erase information from databases, past conversations, shared records, backups or external systems. A personal chart already bound and entered in rankings may also be subject to operation restrictions.
Account separation, access controls and security measures help protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Protect sign-in credentials and contact us using the email below if you notice a privacy or security issue.
09Choices and requests
You decide whether to provide optional details, use shared charts or actively choose public features. Respect the choices and rights of other people whose information is involved.
You can use the email below to request access, correction, deletion, restricted processing or a copy of information under applicable law. Describe the request and relevant account information so that we can verify account ownership and handle it. Account closure, data export and complete data-deletion requests can also be submitted through that email.
10Minors, updates and contact
Obtain any guardian consent required by applicable law before submitting personal information about minors. Avoid supplying sensitive information unrelated to use of the service.
This policy applies from the effective date shown on this page. Updated policies and their effective date will be published here, with appropriate notice of important changes.
