The right FateWay report depends on what you want to understand: a recurring way of handling life, the stage you are moving through, an interaction between two people, or the day ahead. These are different views of a situation. Choosing the view first makes it easier to find a useful question and recognise what you have learned from the reading.

FateWay combines a traditional BaZi chart based on birth details with AI-assisted interpretation and continued conversation. Its public report menu includes full natal, life-cycle and compatibility reports, alongside daily summaries and personal daily detailed reports. You can start with one relevant view and continue as your question develops.
Give one situation four different questions
Imagine Priya, who runs occasional creative workshops with a friend. She enjoys the work but takes over every unfinished arrangement. They are considering a regular programme next year, and this Saturday they have their first larger session.
This is an editorial example, not a customer's report. Priya's situation contains several questions:
- Why do I keep stepping in before asking for help?
- How could I understand the coming stage of this work?
- How do my friend and I handle decisions together?
- What should I pay attention to in this particular day's interaction?
She does not need four reports merely because four questions are possible. The useful choice is the question that matters first. If the immediate difficulty is an unresolved agreement with her friend, she can address that agreement directly while deciding whether a traditional reading would add another perspective.
Use a natal reading for the person across situations
A natal reading starts with your own chart. It is relevant when you want to explore recurring tendencies, ways of using support, handling responsibility or approaching work and relationships. The value is an organised personal interpretation that you can question using actual experiences.
For Priya, the strongest starting point might be the pattern of taking over. Does it also happen with family plans and previous collaborators? Or does it appear only with this friend? Those are useful differences to bring to the reading.
Rather than asking for a label such as “natural leader,” she could ask how the report understands initiative, responsibility and accepting help in her chart. Then she can compare that explanation with an occasion when she delegated comfortably. A familiar description becomes more useful when she can understand its conditions.
After reading, Priya's next question might be: “Which part of this interpretation concerns how I organise things, and what changes when someone else clearly owns the task?” The report gives the conversation a starting structure; the follow-up makes it more specific to her life.
If you already have a natal report, inspect its relevant material before generating another. The report-reading guide explains how to locate a passage and continue around it.
Use life-cycle material for stages and years
A life-cycle reading adds the traditional time perspective. It is useful when your question concerns a stage, a change between periods or a particular year, rather than only a continuing personal pattern.
Priya's question about a regular programme next year fits that different scope. She might explore how the timing material describes the stage covering 2027, then read the relevant yearly passage alongside it. The stage provides context; the year gives a narrower part of that discussion.
The practical next question is conditional: “What does this passage suggest about responsibilities and collaboration in this period, and which circumstances would make that interpretation relevant to my programme?” Priya still needs the actual availability of her friend, the venue and her own time. Those facts help determine what she can realistically do with any interpretation.
The pricing FAQ says a full natal reading is required for that chart before a life-cycle report. For saved material, check that the report actually contains the period you want. Dates visible in a chart are not the same as a generated written report.
Use compatibility material for the interaction
A compatibility reading brings two charts into the discussion. The question becomes how two people's tendencies and circumstances interact in a relationship or collaboration.
For Priya and her friend, “Are we compatible?” is less helpful than “How do we handle ownership and decisions when a workshop approaches?” Priya starts early and fills gaps; her friend waits for participant numbers before committing. Their different timing could sometimes help and sometimes create resentment.
The reading can provide traditional material for exploring that interaction: each person's contribution, possible strengths or friction, and conditions that matter to the pair. In a work partnership, keep the question about collaboration. In a romantic relationship, the concern may instead be closeness, shared expectations or everyday life together.
A useful continuation would be: “Here is what each of us has actually said about planning. How does the interpretation describe our interaction, and what should we ask each other before the next workshop?” Both people remain participants in the real agreement. A report cannot supply an unexpressed commitment for either of them.
Use a daily reading for a focused day
A daily reading offers a shorter time frame. It can give you a theme or point of attention to consider alongside that day's actual circumstances. The public pricing page distinguishes a daily summary from a personal daily detailed report; choose with that difference in mind.
Before Saturday's workshop, Priya might want to reflect on how she responds when arrangements change. After reading, she can select one relevant point and decide what to notice: does she ask what is needed before taking over, and can she state a request clearly?
She can return afterward with what happened. This gives the reading continuity without turning the day into a search for events that match every sentence. Check the person, report date and supplied time context before treating saved material as today's reading.
Make the choice before comparing levels
| Main question | Start by considering | Useful result to look for |
|---|---|---|
| What repeats across my situations? | Natal material | A personal interpretation and a condition to explore |
| What changes across this stage or year? | Life-cycle material | A period-specific question linked to current circumstances |
| What happens between us? | Compatibility material | An interaction both people can discuss |
| What do I want to notice today? | Daily material | One focused reading point and a later observation |

Report type determines the subject and time scope. Level concerns the product's reasoning and review effort. Access concerns the entitlement or credits available for the action. Decide the first before comparing the others.
The public explanation says every full-report level delivers a complete report. A generation entitlement and a generated report are separate; obtaining the former does not automatically create the latter. Check existing reports, applicable prerequisites and the displayed conditions before confirming an action. A higher level should not be treated as a guarantee of a more accurate prediction.
Leave with a reading choice you can use
Priya might finish with this note:
Start with my existing natal report because taking over happens in several settings. Bring the workshop example and a time I delegated successfully. Explore the pair question later if we both want that perspective. Today, first ask my friend who owns the unfinished arrangement.
Your choice may differ. Open the workspace, confirm the intended person or pair and inspect the material already available. A new user needs sign-in and birth details; available actions have their own conditions.
You have finished choosing when you can name the question, the relevant material and what you want to discuss after reading. That gives a personal interpretation somewhere to lead, while leaving your next decision in your hands.
