You want another chance. Your draft has been workshopped in three group chats, and somehow the only surviving line is “Hope you're well.” The committee has successfully removed the person who was supposed to be speaking: you.

Your pride has built an entire approval workflow.
I can make this sound casual. I'd rather make it sound like me: I want to talk about us.
When you want your ex back, a borrowed mysterious personality is another thing to keep up. Start with a sentence you could actually say. FateWay can turn it into a Text Your Ex card; you can edit every word before sending.
Would you say it across a table?
Try saying your first line aloud. Would you actually say it across a table? If you would need a cloak, a smoke machine, and a completely new personality, edit it once more.
Three ways to ask the same question
FateWay uses your confirmed birth details and saved BaZi chart for the card. BaZi uses the year, month, day, and hour, as described in the Hong Kong Observatory calendar reference.
Try these three original rewrites of the same invitation:
- Composed: “I'd like to talk about whether we could try again. I know what I'm asking, and I want to ask it properly.”
- Warm: “I still have room for an honest conversation with you. If you do too, I'd like to have it.”
- Playful: “My pride suggested another three months of pretending this was a weather update. I voted for asking you to talk.”
Ask for one conversation
A strong opening still needs an actual ask. “I think we're unfinished” is a mood. “Would you be open to talking about trying again?” gives the other person something they can understand and answer.
Build the card around three pieces:
- What you want: another conversation about the relationship.
- What you can honestly offer: a specific point you want to discuss or a change you are prepared to explain.
- What the invitation leaves open: the other person's choice.
If you did keep avoiding difficult conversations, you might write:
I'd like to talk about trying again. I kept postponing conversations that mattered, and I want to own that properly. Would you be open to talking about what would need to be different?
That admission only belongs in the message if it is true. Don't adopt a convenient flaw because it gives your card a satisfying character arc. “I have worked on everything” is easy to type and difficult to make meaningful. One honest detail carries more weight than a heroic montage.
Ji Earth and Seven Killings
Fictional random demonstration profile: male, born 1989-03-20 at 15:00 in Beijing. His four pillars, in year–month–day–hour order, are 己巳 · 丁卯 · 己卯 · 辛未. The Day Master is 己 (Ji), Yin Earth, taken from the day pillar's stem.
The saved chart uses true solar time, placing the hour in Wei (未); the civil clock alone would give a different hour branch.

His Day Master is Ji, Yin Earth. In the Ji section of Di Tian Sui, the traditional image is cultivated ground, where things can settle and take root. His card uses amber light, stone, and substantial objects.
The character leans over a moon-gate rail, a round jade charm hanging from his raised hand. Loose chestnut hair and layered sleeves move through the light. A squat seal and a patterned vessel sit in the foreground; mountain halls rise behind him. He looks relaxed enough to ask a question without summoning an army first.
The saved reading also supplied Seven Killings / 七杀 as costume and prop inspiration.
For Rekindle, his generated quote is:
I'd like to try us again, and I'd rather say it plainly than dress it up.
Three group chats can take the evening off. He has said what he wants.

This solo card uses your own birth details. Your ex’s birthday is not required.
How to start in FateWay
- Sign in to FateWay.
- Enter and confirm your own birth date, birth time, and birthplace. The card starts from this saved personal chart; complete this before generating.
- Open the cards above the chat input. This is the card entry in your workbench.
- Choose Text Your Ex, select an attitude, and tap Confirm. Choose Rekindle, Wish You Well, or A Little Petty for the message you actually want to make.
Choose Rekindle. If you add context before confirming, keep it concrete. “I'd like one honest conversation about trying again” helps more than “Make them realize what they lost.” The first tells the card what you want to express. The second asks it to direct someone else's inner monologue.
Then edit the title, personal quote, and body. Read the words without looking at the picture. If the invitation is still unclear, the next edit is not more decorative language.
Favorite it, share it, or choose Send and enter the recipient's email address. The finished card itself is sent. There is no separate letter to compose.
The response still belongs to the recipient.
Ask plainly enough that you don't have to send another message explaining the first.
